Challenge #6 Diamond Card

Good morning friends, I am back with the Diamond Card that was for Challenge #6 this past Thursday.  I apologize for being late, but I was out of town, and by the time I got home I was exhausted, both emotionally and physically.

This is a Puppy Birthday card with colorful pieces added to the base.  The base file, Cheryl created which makes it easier - don't have to come up with exact measurements - all done for me.

The Puppy dog is a svg file, that I created a print and cut image, and saved in png format, and than loaded into Cricut Design Space for print and cutting there (at the time the Silhouette Cameo was not cutting correctly, but since troubleshooted it)

Thank you for visiting with me today, Saturday, and have a blessed weekend/holiday.  Thank you to all our Veterans that gave their life for our freedom.

Challenges I am entering:
  1. 613 Avenue Create. #177 Anything Goes w/Optional Twist: Anything Goes!

Challenge #5 - Corner Sunrise

Over at Creative Kuts FB Group page, we have another challenge - challenge #5 showcasing a Corner Sunrise card (this card as different names, too).  The above one I made as a simple card, using just one 5.50x4.25 design paper under the cut out mat.  I consider this one as my favorite of the two I made this afternoon.

This one I cut out the pieces, and like a puzzle, placed them where they should belong, and using my xyron sticker machine glued everything in place.

At this point I am not sure what occasion these cards will be used for, but they will be handy for a birthday card, or a get well card.

Please check back tomorrow evening for the next challenge - it's to be a cute card.

Thank you for visiting with me this evening, and blessings to all.

Challenge #4 - A Book Card

Challenge #4 over at Creative Kuts FB Group page - Book Card.  I used the file to create this cute pop-out card and changed the sentiment inside from Thank You to Happy Birthday, but I can see a lot of possibilities for this card  i.e. graduation, sympathy, thank you, or get well.

Instead of cutting all the little flower petals for the Lilac I printed the png file onto watercolor paper and colored with either my distressed ink pads or Stampin! Up watercolor markers. I placed the flower and/or sentiment onto printed newspaper grunge paper printed from my Silhouette library.

Thank you for visiting with me this evening, and check back tomorrow for the card for challenge #5.  Blessings to all.

Challenge #3 - Butterfly Easel/Swing Card

Day Three of the weekly challenge at Creative Kuts FB page, and show casing a Butterfly Easel/Swing Card.  At first, I thought it was going to be difficult to make, but turned out to be easy card.

Using design paper and cardstock from my personal stash, I cut this out using my Cameo and Make the Cut software.  I created a shadowed layer for the tag; and the border I cut down to represent a frame.

Thank you for visiting with me this evening, and come on back tomorrow sometime to see Challenge #4's card with is titled a Book Card.  Blessings to all.

A 12x12 Scrapbook Album

A 12x12 Scrapbook Album I am creating for my great grandson, (2nd attempt at this project)  The first album was slightly too small for the plastic inserts I will be using for the scrapbook pages and also I layered three medium  chipboard sheets to make the front and back cover, and the spine for this book.  I wanted some stability for this book.  I am waiting on Black Linen (12x12) cardstock paper to cover this album with.  As I progress with this, I will post pictures, but I will take time as my two granddaughters live 45 minutes from me now, instead of 24 hours away; and I will be spending some summer days with them.

Thank you again for visiting with me and blessings to all.

Creative Kuts Challenge #2 - Accordion Card

Front, closed

Front, with ribbon untied, showing the stamped image that I watercolored with my distessed inks.

The accordion opened up showing the inside flap(s).  The stamped image of a flower was stamped on one piece, and than cut in half and placed in the spaces between the perforation.  The design paper used is from Country Craft Creations that I am using for a mini-recipe album.

Stamped images and ribbon from Stampin! Up, and the cardstock used for matting on front of card from my personal stash.

Thank you for visiting with me this evening, and come back tomorrow for #3 in this Challenge by Creative Kuts.

You're My Main Squeeze card

Good evening from Alabama on this Saturday evening.  I completed this quick card today for a challenge over at Creative Kuts FB page.  This is a challenge going on until next Saturday, and each day we will be creating a new designed card by Cheryl Scrapinmini (Cheryl Walton) of Creative Kuts.  If we complete and post the card on the day we receive the file, we will receive another file to work with/on the next day.

Now, to me, this is more of a Valentine's Day theme card which can be given to a boyfriend or hubby (none of which I have...LOL)  Possibly the title can be changed if used for a birthday card.

Using paper in my personal stash, I created the sentiment tag/mat on Cricut Design Space; and the remainder of card I used my  Silhouette Cameo to cut the file.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me this evening, and check in tomorrow for another card by Creative Kuts.  Blessings to all.

To be a Photo mini-album

This will be a photo mini-album with a French theme paper on front.  I just started this today so not finished inside.  I am thinking of trimming down the side with a scalloped border edge; and the inside with red colors, with the center piece that covers the inside binder of book will be scalloped border edge.  Photos will follow of what I create later this week, so stay tune... :-)

Thank you for visiting with me today, and have a blessed week

A Mother's Day Ease Card

A cute Mother's Day easel card created by Cheryl Scrapinmini of Creative Kuts.

Simple and easy card to create, using Make the Cut software and my Silhouette Cameo to cut it out.
Cutting out seven flowers and the petals, losing the purple petals for the last flower, so made it a yellow flower with brown center.

Thank you for visiting with me today, and hope all Mother's have a Happy Mother's Day on Sunday, May 8th.
